Nestled among the streets of Milan’s Brera neighborhood, the Urban apartment takes on a distinctly contemporary challenge:
to be chic without being pretentious, functional but not cold, light and dynamic.

The project is built around two key themes: the “Cozy & Quiet” lifestyle—an intimate, welcoming, and quiet way of living—and the “Nordic Ease” mood, where wood and Nordic-inspired finishes create a home that feels younger and fresher, with a casual, European flair.
The design choice is clear: neutral tones accented by a few splashes of color, allowing the products to take center stage. No distractions, no excess: the product—precious and versatile—becomes the focal point of the design itself.
Given that this is a compact apartment, the design creates a cohesive and continuous aesthetic through a thorough integration of various systems. From the kitchen to the living room, the wood paneling and surfaces flow seamlessly into one another, lending unity and a sense of openness to the entire space.
Cucina
Character in the Details, Consistency in the Systems
The Modula kitchen system debuts with the new Rovere Ambra finish, complementing the Canapa cabinetry. The dark details—the Victoria handle, the matte black base and top, and the Abitum Pietra Nera countertop—lend character to the design, in keeping with the apartment’s geometric and understated aesthetic.
The wall system in Porfido Sale begins in the kitchen, where the Daily tall cabinet and Daily door conceal the laundry area. The same laminate continues through the wainscoting into the living area, creating a sense of material continuity that ties the entire space together. The space is completed by the extendable Genio table by Bontempi, with a top in Abitum Pietra Nera, and the Vivian chairs by Bontempi in dark gray.
Living
A continuous wall and a special note
In the living room, the “Sale” matte-lacquered wainscoting creates a sense of continuity across the entire wall, extending the kitchen’s design language and bringing unity to the space. The wall unit is the “Diciotto” system: countertop, base cabinets, and wall cabinets in “Sale” matte lacquer, with clear glass interior shelves. The most striking feature is the Aurora door on the wall cabinet—a Silver Shade frame and Fumè glass, with dedicated lighting that highlights its transparency and depth—while the TV panel in Grigio Fango lacquer completes the composition.
In the center, the Trama sofa—upholstered in Delfino fabric with black legs—and the Tower coffee table by Bontempi create a minimalist, contemporary conversation area.
Bedroom
Order and Silent Geometry
The bedroom area reflects the apartment’s minimalist style. The Navona bed, with a frame in matte Grigio Fango lacquer, and the Liz dresser in the same finish create a cozy and serene space that harmonizes with the rest of the home in terms of color.
The Barret bridge cabinet organizes space discreetly: the base and back are finished in Leather Grey melamine, while the sides and doors are finished in Canapa melamine, with a matte steel handle. A solution that combines storage capacity with a light, airy feel, in keeping with the principle of order and understated geometry that defines the Urban collection.
